Description:
Joe Perry used an Ampeg V-2 Head and a Maestro Fuzz Tone that's just not available on the Katana. Perry is also using a LP Junior with P-90's. I used a Strat, Fender Stock Bridge Pickup, Knobs on ten. Closest I had to P-90's.

I think that this is a really good sounding patch for this song, or general purpose rock. I was particularly interested in trying this because its author created it for his Strat, and since I mostly play a Tele I thought it would work for me. It works quite well. I did tweek it a little. I boosted the bass to 70, decreased the treble to 45, and increased the fuzz boost to 9. That sounds really good to my ear. Interestingly, but not surprising, this patch does not sound good on my Les Paul.
