boss ME-90

this post is for reference and insight.

By now you must have come across patches that just dont sound that good
or even worse. There is a simple reason, there are just to many parameters
that might not fit your setup but are perfect in the original creators setup.
For example the OUTPUT LEVEL , in most cases its very low, but in some setups
its set at 100% and the volume level is set somewhere else on the ME-90.
And thats just one example ( passive or active pickups also make a huge difference ).
Alway's, when it sounds bad, try to understand the reason, find the right adjustments
and learn from the patch.

what does a .tsl file look like ?

Example of a .tsl file, its just a text file.

{"name":"ALLAt12","formatRev":"0002","device":"ME-90","data":[[{"memo":"","paramSet":{"PATCH%COM":["41","4C","4C","41","74","31","32","20","20","20","20","20","20","20","20","20"],"PATCH%COMP":["00","07","05","32","32","32"],"PATCH%ODDS":["00","02","00","32","32","32"],"PATCH%PREAMP":["00","00","03","32","32","32","32","34","00"],"PATCH%MOD":["00","03","00","06","0E","32","32","32"],"PATCH%EQFX2":["00","05","00","32","32","32","32"],"PATCH%DLY":["00","00","00","06","0E","31","32","32"],"PATCH%REV":["00","00","00"],"PATCH%PDLFX":["00","00"],"PATCH%NS":["1E"],"PATCH%CTL":["00","00","00","01","01","00","01","01","01","00","00","00","00","00","00"],"PATCH%SNDRTN":["01"]}}

With this in mind lets make a reference sheet that you could use to fill in
your patch settings :
