Patch Update I’ve updated the patch I created a few days ago. It’s still not perfect, but I’ve improved the equalization to reduce feedback and background noise. Dimebag used a lot of drive in his distortion, which makes it very challenging to reproduce without introducing extra noise—especially since my guitar doesn’t have the best pickups. Here’s how I set up the controls: CTL1: Toggles both distortion and chorus simultaneously, while also switching FX2 between equalizer and compressor. CTL2: Assigned to PrA Solo. CTL3: Assigned to delay. I’m using a 2-channel Swiftfoot, and my workflow goes like this: Hit CTL1, then CTL2 to combine distortion and delay for small pre-chorus solos. Turn off the delay with CTL2 when the chorus kicks in. Apply the same approach during the main solo.
