[G5] Metal punch

Hi folks.
I posted a metal patch here, but playing metal with G5 seems a bit difficult.
I have an old Zoom 1010 and the metal is twice as hammering and low sound than the G5. That is to say, when I use headphones.
With headphones and the old ZOOM 1010 I use the MS Vintage distortion with amp sim, quite full of gain, bit more lows with the EQ and then you have that nice Metallica Black Album sound full of thundering lows. If I use the Metal T distortion with amp sim then I have a sound that reminds of Dime Bag Darrel playing.
When I use amp and cabinet simulation and/or EQ on the G5 I can't get as low as the 1010. And I don't mean that tuning down helps :') And then even in direct mode. No, I think low frequencies seems to be filtered out by the G5.
Or do I do something wrong? Any tips?
