Hi everyone.
I have bot G2.1nu, and G3X. As you know in G2, the amps do not have an EQ channel. They only have a tone knob. 6 band EQ unit is connected to those amps. In G3X the amps have 3 channel EQ knobs. When you convert and transfer G2 patches to G3 via this convertet (G2→G5, G5→G3) they do not sound like the original ones. They sound very weak with much highs , and with less basses. The patches of G2.1nu and G2.1dm (Dave Mustain, Judas Priest etc) sound terrible. I think the reason is; the converter adds an EQ pedal (as in G2) and omits the EQ chanells in the amps. Their bass channel stays at 40 as the default value. Is there a solution for this problem? Or do we have to input those EQ values manualy?
The manual input method would not be so easy. Because the EQ pedal has 6 channels while the amp has 3. Also their ranges are different (amp: 0-100, EQ pedal: -16 - +16).
Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm zkun.

I updated the Patch Convertor program. Now you can convert paches without using ZOOM G5 body. If you wanto to convert G2Nu->G3X,

1) Convert G2Nu patch to G5 patch.
2) Put generated text data into upper text field.
3) Convert G5 patch to G3X patch.

You can convert patches only in Patch Convertor program.

Thank you

Is it possible to convert the G3 patches to the G3xn? I see all these incredible patches for the G3. I just bought the G3xn. I never owned the G3. I really want that Brian May - Show must go own patch. But s friend told me the G3's didn't work on the G3xn. I was crushed and now I'm thinking I should've bought the old one.
