Boss gt 8 patch help

Hi all
I'm a recent owner of the old boss gt 8 which I decided to buy and get rid of my pedals anyway I want to run my acoustic through it however I'm struggling getting a decent sound out of it
If be interested and would appreciate / welcome any advice especially what patches would work well with an acoustic
