How to download patches into AX3000G from pc

Hi, I'm new to this ... please forgive my ignorance ... Can anybody please advise me how to download patches from my pc to the AX3000G. I've got my effect unit connected to my pc via midi to usb, but when I launch the patch from my pc, it seems my pc cannot read the AXP files ... paid $50 for my cable but now I'm stuck ... Please help ...

Hello,
1. First make sure your MIDI2USB interface is correctly recognized by your OS.
2. Then, make sure your FX processor is connected via the MIDI2USB interface the right way:
MIDI IN cable connector -> MIDI OUT port on the unit
MIDI OUT cable connector -> MIDI IN port on the unit
3. After that, when you launch if you get a message that a DUMP DEVICE is not connected, press OK. Go to MIDI menu -> MIDI SETUP. From there you should select your USB AUDIO INTERFACE (the MIDI2USB Interface) as both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT device.
Then, you can open patch files with FILE->OPEN or DRAG&DROP
