Can't use editor

I have tried to use the Zoom MS Utility found at https://g200kg.github.io/zoom-ms-utility/ but can't get anywhere. The computer fails to see the MS unit no matter what I do or in which sequence I do it. I have read the instructions and did them as listed.
I'm using an iMac with Sierra OS. My MS-50G is running the 3.10 firmware version.
