Hello

I get alot of questions how to import downloaded patches for zoom products that use the Edit & Share software. I don't own one myself but i downloaded and tried the software and here is how I did it.

- Right click on PC and choose "New Patch Group"
- Click on the newly created group and all banks should be visible in the right pane.
- Now there is two ways of importing the downloaded files:
1. Drag and Drop the file to the bank spot you want it in
2. Right click the bank spot you want it in and choose "Import", browse to the file.

As I said earlier, I don't own a unit that uses Edit & Share myself so if there is something wrong in my text above please let me know and I will correct it.

Yeah, you are right. The process is pretty simple :)

When I follow that procedure, I do not get the import option to import a downloaded patch to one of the new folder's empty patch positions. I also cannot drag and drop a downloaded file into one of the patch positions. Do you know why I do not have those options?

1)Close Edit & Share
2)Open the file Directly
(Edit & Share runs Automatically)
3)This file is loaded at "Temporaly Section"
4)Then you drag and drop to this file to "User Area"

P.S.Some files cannot drag & drop to the positon of empty are of Edit & Share.

Hello. Just brought the Unit Home. I need to organize the most meaningful patches in correct orders of my sets I play. This thing is really cool!!

Does anyone that does this a lot have a running suggestion. I have ideas but not sure.

:P

I am new to this as well and find the instruction manual too hard to follow. My question is sort of related; how do you create a new patch using the software? Appreciate any advice. Louis

Hi I am new to this too.

I have been trying to play Shadows stuff and got a patch for apache. I even bought a patch cd of ebay and that one had apache on it as well.

Because I wanted to do a few Hank stuff does anyone know if someone has worked out other tunes by hank marvin? Or should I use the apache patch and alter it till I get the sounds I want for his other sounds?

Thanks

Newbi Paul :D

Me too. I just finished loading all the software into my PC and as yet have not attached my G3X to it yet, I was wondering how to place the patches I found onto the unit to try them out but not over write the patch unless I like it. I will give it a try.

Hi there I'm pretty new here but I use G3Xn from a while now, and I made a video tutorial on how to upload the patches using Zoom Guitar Lab, I hope it can be useful :)
Here is the link :)
