Finally found why large patch file uploads got corrupted. It should now be possible to upload bigger patch files with no problems.
Sorry for this as I had to delete around 50 patches that did'nt work.

Now it should work in Chrome as well.
There was an inconsistency in how Chrome looked at the file type.
