Jim Root/Mick Thomson tone - Slipknot
Description:
After years of chasing Slipknot guitar tone this is the best I came up with. Audio recorded with the phone, the volume drops by little at 10 sec mark, built in protection or something. I used BOSS Katana 100, EMG 81 (neck), power 0.5W, master 8 oclock. For the best tone, make sure your guitar is tuned perfectly, enjoy!

Good tone, but I recommend lowering the noise gate a little, since I feel that when artificial harmonics are made, for example, the sound gate closes very quickly.
