Very interesting ttguohhs and from my stand point your spot on . I think many people get lost in all the gear aspect and forget its about the music . The gear is cool and fun but its just a tool to get your ideas onto your prefered media .Also mastering the skill of capturing sound requires gentle precision and playing around so one learns what works for them .
