Marky RG100 Solo - Marky Mark
Description:
A Rp360 patch for Solo and Rythm. It is a stereo mix of delay chorus and reverb. It is my version of how the Solo Dude factory patch should sound but falls way short. The Amp is the RG100 amp SIM which to me sounds a lot like the famous Tom Scholz Rockman. He was the founding member of the Band Boston. The Rockman x100 amp Sim from the early to mid 80s. Keep in mind that transistors were what was used to get distortion. It was a big secret at the time but the most successful recordings were being made with it, such as Def Leppards Hysteria album which Mutt Lang produced, who is considered one of the best music producers to this day. Kiss used it and ZZ Top Shania Twain etc etc. The RP360 amazingly can nail down some of these tones and it is all digital. I am blown away by the versatility of the RP360. I think it can get almost any sound. The RG100 SIM is really a great distortion and the manual says that it is the sound of Dimebag Darrel. I think it is closer to the Rockman and the color and style is exactly like the Rockman, I own it and this is how I know. Wiki the Rockman. This SIM really has a lot of distortion to offer. There is a Sparkle distortion that is set to give a tube click in front of the amp and this pedal is great in front of many amps in the Rp360. Rolling back the volume in this amp is super effective.
