Guitar effect patches for the zoom G2 and G2.1u

Introducing The G Series from Zoom. Zoom's new G2 combines a harmonized pitch shifter with a built-in PCM drum machine. It also sports the World's fastest patch change.

Voice Recording - You

Description:

Confused about noisy voice recording through your soundcard? Try it with the Zoom G2.1u. Simple connect your microphone to the G2.1u and record over the USB interface. This is awesome unnoise. Try to use the acoustic guitar simulator (AC), or the booster (BS). You can also use the noise reduction. I don’t need to buy a ultra pultra sound card, because thanks god I have my Zoom G2.1u. Is that cool? This patch is only a quick reference.

as long as you are recording through your OEM soundcard, you will have crappy tone. FULL STOP.

The acoustic simulator tip is gold, thanks!

2007-05-12

That's very useful, thanks ;)

with a shure sm58 it sounds not bad...

2007-05-12

pointless, and stoopid. No point, very stoopid. Why would you record voice over GUITAR processor. no use. and what`s with the EQ 1,1,1. are you sane? that has no poit at all. absolutley no point. you just had some kind of shitty inspiration and you put the "miracle" number 1,1,1. you could put 6,6,6 and sing number of the beast.

2007-05-12

Yes, haha. not useful at all

2007-05-12

OMG STOOPID AS HELL

2007-05-12

Fine! You just have to adjust the EQ a little bit but then it's perfect!! Thanks!

(USB != OEM Soundcard) Not bad, ta!

2007-05-12

If you compare it to your OEM soundcard, the quality is musch better !

hi would like to know, will it sound good if i plug my normal microphone >>G2(not g2.1u)>>PC mic input??

Thanks for the Acoustic simulator idea. To the STOOPID STOOPID people you'd be surprised how well the G2.1u works through a mixing board. The signal to noise is just as good as any professional rack-mount unit, the digital delay and reverb are incredibly clean. The most useful feature is the intelligent harmonizer. I have one G2.1u devoted to vocals only where I have presets for every 3rd, 4th, and 5th above an below for every key present in my set list. I do a 2 hour dinner set solo with just guitar and vocals using a 6 channel mixing board and 2 G2.1's. People freak-out when they here perfect harmonies coming out of the PA but there's only one guy on stage. The G2.1 tracks the voice perfectly and you can even change intervals in the middle of a single word. If your voice is slightly off pitch the harmony will still be perfect pitch. It's awsome...believe me!

you mad people, you do not understand that this patch allows you to use your processor as an audio interface and saves your money and you need not buy an extra 100,200,300 dollar toneport, m-box etc
