Really? Listen to the audio clip I just attached ^^ It may be some of your other settings. Check and make sure that you have the correct pickup selection on for your guitar and also check your global settings sound.

Good only for slow solos. It gets noisy when I start shredding. Yeah, harsh is how it sounds. :-)
